TMS number for SC!! Parcel and Pin for NC. I always look back at the history of the piece and check for any parent parcels in case I'm going back into large acreage - it's good to understand the parcel splits. Sounds riveting, doesn't it? I look for any notes/clues on the property card - are there estates scribbled in the margins - is there a list with parcel adds and acreage? All these let me know how complicated the search I'm heading into is going to be. If it looks like a 2.67-acre piece of land that has stayed the same for over 50 years, I go thank God and buy a lottery ticket, because very rarely am I EVER that lucky.
