About the Ga records online subscription -guess it is cheap and I use it myself but do not rely on it; I'd be a fool to do that.  I have found many many errors and keep in mind, they state it's not certified info.  I basically use it as a cross-check & to help determine the location of a property, as many times I get orders for the wrong county.   However, I know of at least one company I do some work for who does rely on the info from this website & info they get from the various online tax assessor records, which is often inaccurate and incomplete.  Only current liens are indexed on this website.  Here, the only time a SS# is on a lien, if it is a FTL or state tax lien.  I think that practice should be abolished, whether in print @ the courthouse or on the web, even though it helps to have the#, when you are searching a common name.  When asked, I just tell the company to give me the last 4 #'s only.  But I have some clients who send me an order w/the complete SS# and I just don't think that is right.
