Thanks for the suggestion David. I already tried restore yesterday but it did not work. I took the computer in today and looks like the problem is the hard drive. They are going to try to retrieve my docs but not very optomistic. Looks like it may be a hard drive transplant ahead. Fortunately we have a buyers protection warranty. Unfortunately that does not help with the docs.
I will try the CD suggestion when I get it back Robert. Thank you.
