Thank you Robert! The scanner is manufactured by Antec and the model is the "Attache". I purchased ours on Amazon.com and you can read the details as well as the reviews for it there. What is great is it does not require it's own power source and is small and fast. Just remember the largest size you can feed through it is legal 10.5 x 14. We always reduse maps to fit our fax so this is no different for us. It cost us $37 plus about $3-$4 shipping. You maybe able to find it locally... I didn't want to put the time into shopping. We do not sell these and have no financial interest... remember use at your own risk! What we like you may not but you can always return this. We also took David in Texas advise and purchased Paperport Professional (we have 10) and it is worth every cent!
