Judy the other abstractor is at 35.00 - yours starts at 50.00 that is 15.00 higher and your fees are within the accepted range of fees charged.  Your starting fee is 1/3 higher than her fee.  That is a big difference.  I wish everyone would take the time one day to time from start to finish - all time spent on orders - receiving the fax or email, traveling divided by the amount of orders travelled for, time spent at courthouse, time spent sending and invoicing order and est time to receive payment and credit the invoice.  I think even the simplest orders would suprise you when you break it down like that in the amount of time that is actually consumed.  Example, to make $60.00 an hour (obviously before expenses) you would have to make $5.00 every 5 minutes - travel time, phone calls, etc included.
