I think you hit the nail on the head. This is exactly what is happening and we all have played into it. I am no longer soliciting VMC's as most of them really don't care about anything except the bottom price and the quickest turn-time. I have found that they end up beating you into the ground at a rock bottom price and want top notch service. I would rather put out a good product at a reasonable price, it seems as if, it is working for me as of now. I do work with a couple of VMC's who are really great to work with, but the majority are a pain in the a**. I will be raising my prices in the near future and I'm sure I may loose a couple, but it only makes good business sense to me. Why do I want to do twice the work at half the price? Others should follow suit!
