I glad you are raising your prices and sticking to them.  Do not wait for companies to come back - get new companies - think of other ways to make money with what you do with local companies.  Contact the human resource depts of large corporations - if you think about it just having your service posted on the message board of these corporationscould bring in alot of doc retrievals from individuals - needing copies of the divorce decrees, deeds, etc. - one man told me at the courthouse I would pay you $50.00 to not have taken off an entire afternoon to come to the courthouse and get a copy of something I needed - I don't know about you but I like the thought of that - lol.  Also, human resource depts outsource criminal checks and many large corps have their individual real estate depts.  This is something I haven't done yet but I am sure is a great market for us.  The more you are secure in a diverse and multitude of clients they more you don't have to subject yourself to companies trying to take advantage of the abstractors in today's market.
