Your idea of doing work for foreclosure investors sounds interesting, but I should note that it can't be done everywhere. The type of title reports we now submit in Ohio to attorney and title company clients could be considered unauthorized practice of law if prepared for a member of the general public. While it may be fine in Texas, I would caution those in other states to speak with a real estate attorney, as well as their E&O carrier, before attempting this type of work.
