Well I thought about this post for awhile and then I decided why isn't it a good time to raise prices - the only thing that has happened is that some companies have taken on trying to do orders themselves without using us increasing their profit margin and a lender specifically posted regarding the issue of our pricing telling us the lending industry has enough money to dispurse more funds. If now is not the right time then when is it? The volume of orders may never come back Another thought, if we are going to mass market, etc direct to lenders etc I don't think we have a lot of time to do it. The reason being, I think more and more abstractors in some states will take on different businesses or employment and then we won't have enough abstractors to go straight to the lenders. I think initiating this whole project is more at an immediate need than some people in some states realize but with the information we recieved like everyone is to be online sometime this year (if not brought down by Congress) everyone will feel what has happened to most of the rest of us. Its really hard to hang in there and go from a handful of clients to a hundred clients to fill in the volume you once had before in a short period of time. When your county goes online it will drop in a matter of months with no notice to you - well you now have notice - lol - but the rest of us didn't have a clue this would happen - we didn't realize how risky and stupid some people really are in this world.
