Perhaps you should raise your prices and see what happens.  You may be lower than the rest of us to begin with.  Even if everyone raises their prices $5.00 each I'm sure it would make most prices different.  What are you charging to begin with?  I personally charge what I want - and will not go down to what others have gone down to.  To me that tells me you are not too sure of what you are worth and what your skills are (not specifically directing this to you - just in general) to reduce rates and do them for what some are doing them for - its because the people they are contracting too are unskilled and don't have a clue and it is going to, and has in the past, bite the title companies and vendor management companies in the ass.
