Jarrod, Lisa didn't catch anyone doing online searches.  Lisa was at the courthouse and a person had to ask Lisa how to do 2 orders that were current clients of Lisa and still are clients of Lisa.  The person (I did not know who they  were) did not know how to even pull information.  Lisa, at this time, decided it was in the best interest of these companies to know that people were marketing to them that didn't know how to do the work.  Lisa went back and forth in her head on the issue first too but knew it was in the best interest of the company to inform the company that someone may be marketing to them that has no clue of how to complete the order.  The company thanked Lisa for informing them and said they would be particularly watchful on what comes through from this county.  This company employs several abstractors for this county as it is large and volume is sometime huge.  Lisa was giving - now I can't even remember who asked the question - lol - advice on what she would do about someone who was doing online searches for a company that she USED TO work for.  A different situation, although with similarities, requiring different decisions or techniques in which to come to a conclusion of what to do.  Bottom line, Lisa believes that the client's best interest should always come first no matter what the end result is.  And yes, I personally could care less what anyone thinks of me if I did in fact report online searching - its bad for a company - and its wrong for someone to make companies believe they are getting the same product when they aren't.
