Hi Loretta! I'm sorry that things are so rough for you right now. Believe me when I say that you are not the only one feeling the crunch in the title industry. We are all having to deal with clients wanting to pay less, and other abstractors who are willing to charge less.I have had to make many adjustments in order to run my business successfully. I lost my biggest client because I refused to drop my prices, and I did so without hesitating. I know what I'm worth, and I won't accept any less. I have no regrets at all over this as it has allowed me more time to work for people who appreciate the work that I do for them, and who pay me accordingly. JT gave you some great advice (he always does). Focus on the goals for your company, and follow through on a plan that will make it happen for you. If your client wants to cut your fee, don't do the work for them. Market yourself and your company, and you will find the work- IT IS OUT THERE! It might take a little while, but if you keep at it will be worth it. As for having to pay the fee to Source Of Title.......Just the advice and ideas that I get for my company in itself is enough to have me signing up! You won't find any better! Good luck!!!!!
