Very good point Lisa, especially for those of us who do commercial work in areas where it is common for parcel splits. If I recall correctly, the last time this issue came to light, it was because an abstracter looked ONLY at the "address" instead of reading the legal description. That also raises the issue of following your "gut"...If something seems "funky" it probably is and it is worth it to take the extra time to check it out. When clients start doing the "need yesterday" song, especially on commercial searches, I always tell them that I would rather take the additional time necessary to feel comfortable with the research completed, rather than meet their turn time tables.....Great point to bring up...Thanks,
