When I receive an "update" with garbage like the "thin title" described here, I call the company and let them know that I did not do the original search for that "thin title" and my search and fee with be for a complete search, not an update on someone else's report.  I am suspicious that even though we abstractors send quality reports to our "information-company" clients, our clients do not necessarily include all the information we give them. There are lots of titles that just don't fit well into those little boxes the clients have on their forms.  Rather than the abstractor being at fault here, I am guessing it's the information companies doing a poor job of reporting what we report to them.  Whaddayathink?
