Electronic recording will begin to be done in Maryland within the next 12 months. The instrument will be scanned and emailed to the courthouse for recording. There will be no way to update the title. I guess that is where they will have to use a GAP policy in case there was a new judgment from the time the title was done to the day of recording. Sounds scary to me but that is what they are going to do.
