Ok, it is a little funny reading these all these posts. Obviously we have hit a sensitive area with a lot of people. I think we need to work together somehow here. We all need work to live, and we are all struggling at times. We don't need to start wars with each other unless it's deserving. I hope that everyone who read the original post at least took a little time to think about it. I myself have lost work to lower priced competition, and people have told me I am too expensive. But these people aren't looking out for me (or you) and I know that. We just have to be confident that when we offer a price that is what we are worth. If they want less - fine - go for it. Being in this business, is was one of the first and hardest lessons I learned. I guess my advice is don't lower your standards. If you are working your butt off, insured, and making people happy, that will be the ultimate payoff for you.
