Lisa,  Obviously, we will never do business together.  Because you are still trying to make a dramatic scene about nothing.  I contact 1% to lower their prices - you jump on me for it.   What I left out is that I had a client that needed a search done there and they would only pay $50.  So I asked the person to come down to $45 on the order, so I could cover my cost OR We could turn the work down.  Do you really think that somebody is going to turn down work during this slow period.  I could have gotten the search done for $35, actually $30, with another abstractor but I chose to use a company that charged more because I knew their service was good.  I pay for quality.

By posting my study, I provided a service to all that wanted to read.  I put down on paper the answer to the question on everybody's mind.

Then you try to lower my name by saying I'm just like them or it's all about the money for me.  Well you're DEAD wrong!  But I'd never be able to convince you of that, so I'm not going to try.

I received email from people stating that
"it is people like you that have caused ALL of us to suffer."
"Because of people like you, I can barely feed my family" - that's hate-driven, I would call that hate-mail - THEY DIRECTLY BLAMED ME, How Am I to blame???

Uh, who lowered their prices?  It wasn't me. 

Here it is plain and simple. (this is all that I was trying to say in my initial post)

ABSTRACTORS PRICES ARE TOOOOOOO LOW,  I THINK THEY SHOULD BE HIGHER.

I provided my research for all to see.   I could have kept it to myself and just screwed you all but I didn't.  I VOLUNTEERED INFORMATION THAT WILL NEGATIVELY AFFECT THE BOTTOM LINE OF MY COMPANY. Sounds selfish?  I don't think so.
