Fraudulent documents are unavoidable, whether filed electronically, or via the "old-fashioned" pen and paper method.

The bootom-line on all of this - fraud is why the title industry exists. While many people are concerned about online abstracting/examination, it still takes a trained eye to recognize a title issue.

Here in New York City, there have been quite a few frauds that have taken place on a wide scale - and that was with the OLD traditional system. If the problems existed before, they will continue, regardless of the system used.

This is why it is important for a trained eye to be looking at the information, and actually makes our jobs MORE necessary...
