Most land records offices require original documents or certified copies in order to record them. Does the new statute provide for some way of transmitting the oringinal or certified copies, or are the electronically transmitted documents going to be deemed originals. If so, how will the recorder distinguish between electronically transmitted copies and xerox copies?
