That is a good point Glenda. I suspect there are many differences as well as many similarities between the states. Maybe by posting the questions and answers here rather than through email we can discover the differences.

I know one difference here in Texas and some states is the way assignments are indexed. Even this can vary between counties. So here are some true or false questions that might be exclusive to Texas..

Consitantly True or False?
1. A chain of assignments is determined by searching the county clerk indexes under the borrower name.
2. Assignments to deeds of trust will  include the legal descripition .
3. Fixture filings will  be indexed as Fixture Filings or Security Agreements.
4. Republic of Texas records prior to 1845 will be found in Austin.
