George, what you have to remember here is that
FIRST: If you have an enhanced listing, those companies who visit this site and do NOT have a subscription can only get contact info for those of us who do have the enhanced listings.  Those potential clients will most likely call everyone whose numbers they can get, to get turn around times and fees.  The key is to sell yourself and your experience and your customer service.  I was told recently from a potential new client, if they can hear the smile thru the phone, they know they will get good service.  You know who you are...
SECOND:  Robert, who owns this site, has been operating this site at a big LOSS of money for the past 2 years or so.  So the income he is generating now is helping him cover expenses.  Which I think many of don't realize how much is involved in that.  Such as the bandwidth for the site, the subscription for the web address, Slade and Jarrod's salaries, keeping this site updated with great information, and general overhead such as office space and electric and such things like that.

If you feel that threatened by others getting enhanced listings in your same areas, you need to sell yourself and your services better.  Not all cattle are the same.  You need to find out how to make your services stand out in the crowd.  Make the clients want to use you over everyone else.  I'm not saying that is easy, but it can be done.

Just my 2¢ though.
