I use Microsoft Frontpage to edit my website and then just upload it from the software. It really only takes an hour or maybe less to set up a simple web site, then you can expand from there. I didn't start with a single page but layed out the entire original web site in about 8 hours or so. It has been four years since I first set it up so my memory isn't clear on this.

The number of visitors is and time spent is part of the service offered by Your-Site and probably most hosting companies. Unlike simple counters, this report is on the number of unique visitors as opposed to just the number of hits so it is a much more meaningful number.
