David the same thing happens here in CA... being one of the larger states. We are always having people call wanting us to do searches in Orange county... only an 8 hour drive for us. You are correct though people look at maps and think... hey thats only an inch or two. Every inch is about 2 hours here... and that depends on where you are driving. In LA county an inch could be 4 hours driving with all the traffic! Nothing compares to the size of Texas though... I'll never forget the first time I flew over Texas it seemed to take hours!
