Oh I agree - next step is the certified letter with notice that suit will be filed within 30 days if not paid - and it is relatively cheap to file in Justice of the Peace Court which in my state has been raised to up to 5,000 owed - which I would never let anyone get close to that - so that would always be my jurisdiction
