Sometimes it can be difficult to find these disclaimers. They tend to be better hidden than the social security numbers and other private information on these sites. In the case of one of the Michagan counties I just went to, I could have probably picked up a few dozen social security numbers in the same time it took me to find their disclaimer.

A lot of these counties and their corporate partners do not want you to know just how inaccurate and incomplete there information is. But they will be very quick to pull it up if you are sued as a result of having relied on them.
