I'm confused.  Here in Northern Virginia the few available website records are generated by the same data entry personnel as are the records in the County.  In other words, the website is searching the county data base.  It sounds to me from some of the postings here that that's not the case in other locations.  Is this a correct conclusion, that some entity other than the recording clerk is creating the website entries?
