I am sort of offended by the idea of saying that because you do not go to the County Clerk's Office, then you are not still maintaining a level of quality in your searches.

While in Texas, the systems may be quite limited, here in NYC, the systems in place allow for about 70-80 percent of the refinance searches to be done as accurately as the traditional methods. Not to mention that the online system run by the NYC counties (sans Richmond) are the ONLY way to access documents from 2003 to date.

Take pride in what you do, and continue to do it well - those that do not will be weeded out in the long run, and the online element honestly has nothing to do  with it...
