I checked with David my partner/spouse and he agrees... she did say insurance. We have another appointment with her on Monday and I will simply ask her. Maybe she will sign an affidavit for me. What I find troubling about this is the blasé manner of oh well... we screw up we have insurance. I may be mistaken here but bottom line is we all end up paying for that "insurance." We as consumers should be concerned since we pick up the bill every time an insurance company has to pay out. I don't recall challenging the lenders right to reduce costs. I also don't think abstractors are a dying breed... but I am curious as to how we are "evolving."
