It really makes sense with the laws changing on bulk sale of images and counties retaining property rights.  I would think that as long as they use the images bought up right now in-house only they might not be breaching any laws.  Let David comment on how the law is going.  I didn't think of that as a possibility for a title company to do before you mentioned it.  First American is connected with DataTree somewhere down the line - one of the counties' most used imaging companies which will be stopped from selling what they image.
