Here in Cuyahoga Cuyahoga, Ohio we are lucky enough to have mortgages online.  But if certified copies are requested, we only charge $15.00 for a "document retrieval" plus whatever the county will charge for the certification. I am sure our prices are low, but $50.00 seems really, really high.  Today I had 11 document retrievals.  I wish I made $50.00 per retrieval!!!  Good luck...retrievals are easy and fun.
