I realize all of that Shannon, and you and I, I think, are in agreement on online searching.

However, I can say for myself that I have no intention of joining ANY group that does not have a full membership of people that are at least understanding of the fact that things are done differently elsewhere in the country.

Lisa Ramsey's and David Bloys' posts have exhibited a complete lack of understanding of the wider issues concerning online searching. Further, Ms. Ramsey brings to bear whether membership to NALTEA should be granted to those who conduct searches online - are you kidding me? That is a basic insult of any skill that I have. Because I use online sources, is it to be assumed that I don't know how to read through a block/lot index, or a grantor/grantee index?

I read what you are saying Shannon, but I am not going running to a group where, as it seems based on the rhetoric on these forums, that many have no idea about the National picture in our industry...
