Your'e darn lucky if you get them to pay, when you "charge" the fee.
One of the major VMC bitched when I asked for the tax # to verify the
parcel the wanted searched.  The found it easier to go to a more "friendly
vendor" that did not ask for details, and in my mind, produced poorer
quality reports for them, but that's what they wanted.
