Ya, I like the "trade secret" idea.  That is what I was trying to get at in my
post.   The person should not unfairly benefit from the training you "gave"
them.   Another possible remedy would be to require them (the new
trainee) to agree to a training fee, part of which would be canceled upon
showing of good faith over a period of years, not to steal my clients.
