Property Information is available ONLY online for Kings, Queens, New York, and Bronx Counties from 1981 to date. The actual documents are available ONLY online from 2003 to date.

I haven't responded back to the myriad of posts on the other thread, because I am aghast that people simply do not understand that online is many cases the ONLY way to do a search in some areas.

The consistent argument of whether the files should be out in the open like that has NOTHING to do with whether searches are conducted via an online system. Rather, it is an ad hominem attack on something that people don't want to see happen because it will limit the amount of work available to independent abstractors.
