The only software with which I have actual experience is AIM, the web-based version.  Here are some pros and cons:

Pros
If your internal system is not backed up sufficiently, it may be a good idea to have your title and escrow information stored off-site.  Our company now contracts web-based licenses through First Data.  They seem to take seriously the task of protecting the information. Data is fairly easy to input.

Cons
Licenses are expensive to buy or "rent".  While there are a number of accounting and management reports available, it is impossible to tailor them to suit your company's specific needs.  First Data will produce reports, but for a fee.  Remitting to underwriter is somewhat cumbersome.

We will soon be switching over to Streamline.  First American provides a live demo, I believe twice a week, via the internet.  You could probably sign up for the demo by contacting an agent rep in your area.

I have also seen a demo of RamQuest and thought it was an excellent product.  You can learn more about RamQuest at www.ramquest.com .

Both of these products seem to me to be more flexible than AIM and, in our case, the licensing was less expensive than AIM.
