I don't think this particular issue would be considered badmouthing, it is just stating the truth and at the same time, warning other contractors about potential problems with this company. We are not simply talking about an occasional late payment here and there,  it is and has been consistent non-payment in excess of 5 months plus (myself, 9 months and still waiting on payment). It is understandable that you might take this personally, however, a company with higher standards would not be having these kinds of issues. It really does seem as though this company has taken advantage of quite a few abstractors on this forum. This is not hiding behind a message board, it is what it is, a discussion among colleagues.
