While I do agree with you all, I think what Larry was saying is that someone expected MORE than a current owner in their limited lien search.  I have ran across that before, but it is not the "norm" for a limited lien search.

I miss the old days when there was only one way to do a title search - according to the state's requirements for marketable title.  Sure it was more work, but you knew what was expected and you didn't have three pages of instructions with every order.
