I know which company you are talking about, I think.  It does look like they would shut it off on the weekends.  My husband and I can set our clock by the evening fax.  I agree about the paper wasted and ink is expensive for a one person shop. 
But I am HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY to have their work so
I would never, never, never say anything to them.
