I don't know if there is more than one office for them, but I was contacted by Patrick Furman out of Liverpool, NY back in January.  I did two "rush" jobs, and was promised payment in 30 days. 

He had sent me an "Engagement Package" as Robert described. It simply outlined my fees as I had quoted, so I sent that back, along with my Statement for Services Rendered.

Faxed my Statement on 01/31, 02/28, 03/31, and 04/29.  No response. 

I called Patrick this morning, and asked what was going on.  He said he did receive the requested Package, but that he didn't have the Statement.  Must have gotten separated from the other docs, and would I please refax to his attention right away.

He promised to have me paid by the end of the week.  I'll let you know if I get a check.
