Hi Judy,
 No, I mean on the large one I can leave 40 pages to scan without babysitting and on the small one I can leave 20 pages to scan (alone). The feeders on both are smooth and never stick, hardly ever double-feed pages.  Just that one has a larger capacity than the other.  Neither need constant hand feeding of documents. Or consant attention. They are great machines.
