Well what I can tell you is this....the attorney I mentioned above is not marking up recording fees. I put on on the HUD exactly what the clerk charges to record, down to the penny. BUT the abstractor we use charges $25 for the update/record and the attorney wants our HUD to have $50 for update/record and he keeps the difference.
That is what I am concerned about. Can he ask me to do that when I prepare the HUDs???
