In this area it is customary for the client to pay an additional $50.00 for each of a probate court search, a search of a Superior Court file or a search of a Bankruptcy Court file. This may be due to the fact that these files are not centrally located and require additional travel most of the time.
If the client is not willing to pay the additional fee we normally pass on the search. Otherwise, any profit winds up in our gas tanks.
