While I get aggravated with this also, it isn't so much the ink and paper as it is time.  I have 4 abstractors and sometimes when these "second" orders come through, a different abstractor will pick it up and do it.  Obviously we can't charge them twice. With the pressure we are under to get the orders done quickly, sometimes we don't notice that it has already been assigned to another abstractor in the office.

I'm with you, just call me and ask about it - don't send it again.
