This is exactly the problem I was talking about. We have the same problem with time lost on the road in Connecticut. Regardless of whether you use a mobile office or not, taking time to draft abstracts between 9 AM and 5 PM further reduces the time available to search the land records during their hours of operation. This in turn reduces the volume of product that an abstractor can produce and market during the day.

My point is that if the VM's want this expedited service, they should expect to compensate the abstractor for the reduction in marketable product resulting from the time lost drafting the expedited abstract they requested.
