I agree. It is possible to cover more than one or two counties. It all depends on work load for that day and your central location relative to the county courthouses.

I see it over and over everyday. Abstractors claim to provide great service but for whatever reasons fail to get work back ontime. So I am forced to find other abstractors who say that particular a county is their "home" county and they are there everyday.

I don't think most managers feel the way I do. They will always look at the cheapest possible ways to get title work back. I would rather have the peace of mind and confidence that the work will be back in 24 hours. I believe if you offer a fair price and above average service vendor managers will be more likely to use you. I think it all comes back to having good communication with your clients. You are always going to come across those companies who will try to slash your fees pretending that there's someone who can do it faster, cheaper. I guess you just have to call their bluff sometimes.
