Accurate and complete for sure. Price is one of the last things we look at. I think abstactors should strive to get to know their clients just as VM's should get to know their abstractors and their capabilities. Communication is the biggest thing for me. I would like to see more abstractors strive to beat their own turntimes. I think abstractors are spreading themselves so thin. They need more work but their service is suffering by taking on too much. I think with the way title companies monitor turntimes, if you concentrate on only a couple counties and provide above average service, you are more likely to get more work in that area and you on't spend so much time in the car. I always go with an abstractor who covers a county or two rather than one who claims to cover a whole region. I haven't see many business models where abstract companies can cover such a great area and give next day service.
