you are right, it is not the example I meant nor the trend I would like to see. It seems we, as a people in general, are in the stage of "got to have it now, got to have it cheap", regardless of the quality.
Is that really the way we want things to go? That is how mistakes are made. That's why the speed limit is 25 mph or less in a school zone instead of 85 mph. That's why there are waiting periods for purchasing certain things. That's why Doctors (ok most) wait for the test results to come back before going into surgery. That's why there is a 3-day recession period when making major purchases.
We should be encouraged to take the necessary time to perform a complete and accurate title search, but instead we are constantly being urged to get it done faster and cheaper regardless of the results.
You get what you pay for.
