Nah, David you'll know when my feathers are ruffled! LOL

I just don't understand what happened to the latest shot from Mr. Davis. I swear i read a post on the day I started this thread, where Davis was once again making accusations about one certain company not paying him. Now, you know that I like to get paid as much as the next feller and I'll drag a deadbeat client into court as quick as i can draft the the compalint, but this Davis guy is making all these claims, which may be valid, but he fails to present any evidence. I just don't like to see character defamation. If the bill is due prove it.

When all this crap started i had made a suggestion that we have a Source of Title hearing or trial. Most of us here are professionals in the business and varied areas of expertise are represented here. If memory serves, SOT and the two companines that were at the brunt of Davis' charges agreed to this idea. I was suprised that the companies involved would take the time to answer the charges on this board, but they did. Then they thought better of it and decided it was not the proper course of action for them to take. That is fair. They have no obligation to spend the time and expense for what more than likely would have turned into a show, rather than a real arbitration proceedings.

I do think that it would be a good idea if we could have an Arbitration Board here, or perhaps at a new website. The arbitration judges would have to have a level of expertise in this busisness. I know that Kevin offered to help out. To me the arbitration should be binding. That way the decision could be presented to the proper jurisdiction for enforcement.

Or, on the other hand, the arbitration could turn in to a type of rating system. The complaints, counter complaints, and answers could be public. The evidence could be public. The decision could be public. This could be an educational tool for all of us in the business.

Anyway, I'm not really in the position to take such a task on. Its just a suggestion.

My main concern now is to pay for my tickets to see the Stones in Dallas and Houston!

Good to see you back on the board David.

Take care,

Lin
