Jonathan - the issue is I have been told repeatedly by VMs that they are in-housing orders.  This is to show that it cannot be done - the search capabilities online are limited to grantor/grantee and our assignments and other documents are only rarely indexed under the mortgagor's name but rather by bank to bank and legal description and this capability is not available online - therefore, impossible to do whether or not a person is a professional abstractor or not.  I did another one in Denton County - I may have David post so they can check out my results with theirs via the internet.
