I don't know about anyone else, but when you search via a grantee/grantor system, you have to do more than simply run the names of the current owners.

The issue to companies should be whether they are getting people who know how to do that - your examples clearly identify the liability of NOT doing it correctly. I give you both a lot of kudos for exemplifying that.
